India is home to 3 crore people with disability. Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) in India face discrimination and marginalization every day. Inclusion in society needs lot more efforts through awareness and advocacy.
Manonandana was established in 1996 and is a registered non-profit organization.

We are an 80G, 12 A and Registered Trust under Darpan and CSR1.

Our Stakeholders Trust us because of our Holistic approach

  • From cognitive, motor skills training to Yoga and music therapy, our kids are exposed to various methods of development
  • Parents and teachers are actively involved making our approach holistic and effective
 

Our Efforts are Aligned to SDG Goals and CSR Mandate

2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development holds a deep promise for persons with disabilities everywhere. Building on the principle of “leaving no one behind”, the new Agenda emphasizes a holistic approach to achieving sustainable development for all.

Disability is referenced in multiple parts of the SDGs, specifically in the parts related to education, growth and employment, inequality, accessibility of human settlements, as well as data collection and the monitoring of the SDGs.

  • Corporate social responsibility is changing the lives of many PwDs with projects to boost their learning and self-confidence, employability and self-reliance.
  • We have the impactful and comprehensive CSR projects for Persons with Disabilities.
  • It is also aligned with Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt of India

How We Work

Manonandana believes in a holistic approach towards rehabilitation

The Special children in the centre belong to 3 major categories of multiple disability.

Mental Retardation

Mental Retardation with Cerebral Palsy, Autism; Attention deficit – hyperactivity. Most MR with CP children suffers due to movement disorder. Around 50% of CP children may have IQ of a normal range but needs continuous efforts and exercises to maintain & improve their condition
